10. Chiropractic
Chiropractic is used to treat functional joint problems. It is one of the most popular treatment methods for back pain.
Back pain is usually caused by shifted vertebrae or cramped muscles, which restrict the mobility of the spine. This is often due to postural errors or incorrect
movements. But swelling of the soft tissue can also lead to disturbed joint play.
Chiropractors try to loosen such joint blockages with special hand grips. For some patients this can - apart from back pain - dispel further symptoms: Shifted vertebrae sometimes press on nerves
or even jam them. This can, for example, cause headaches, dizziness
or impaired vision. If it is possible
to remove the joint blockage, these symptoms can also disappear.
In addition to the treatment of back pain, the chiropractic method can also have a positive effect on painful and restricted functions in the muscle and tendon
area.
The general objective is to normalise the functioning and interaction of joints and muscles and to alleviate or at best eliminate pain.
