13. Jaw joint treatment for Temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ)

The temporomandibular joint therapy relieves pain, restores and maintains the ability of the jaw to move and function.

It is a special form of manual therapy for patients who have developed limitations in the temporomandibular joint due to teeth grinding and pressing.

By loosening the cervical spine and the jaw area, treatment of the jaw joint from the outside and inside (of course with gloves) a pain relief and improvement of the mobility in the jaw joint, e.g. the mouth opening is achieved.
